Big Walk specs start at a 64-bit Windows 10 PC with 12 GB RAM, an Intel Core i7-7700K or Ryzen 5 1600X, and a GTX 750 Ti-class GPU. On Mac, the official minimum is macOS 15, Apple M1 or newer, and 16 GB RAM.

The Steam page does not publish a storage figure for the computer version in the requirements block checked on August 16, 2026. Do not substitute the Switch 2 download size as a PC installation requirement; platform packages can differ.
Official macOS requirements
Big Walk supports Apple-silicon Macs. The minimum is macOS 15, an M1 processor or newer and 16 GB RAM. The recommended level keeps macOS 15 and 16 GB RAM but moves to an M3 processor or newer.
Intel Mac processors are not listed. A Mac that meets the operating-system version but uses unsupported processor architecture should not be assumed compatible merely because Steam can be installed on it.
Network, microphone and controllers
Big Walk is an online-only cooperative adventure, so a stable internet connection matters even though Steam's short requirements table does not attach a specific bandwidth number. Crossplay sessions synchronize up to 12 players and rely on real-time voice or text communication.
A microphone is optional. The official FAQ states that the entire game can be played with built-in text chat, which follows the same distance, wall and walkie-talkie rules. Mouse and keyboard and most computer controllers are supported, and controls can be rebound.
Minimum versus recommended
Meeting the minimum list means the developer considers the hardware supported; it does not promise the same resolution, frame rate or graphics settings as the recommended tier. House House has not published a table mapping each tier to an exact performance target.
For a group session, test the game and voice settings before everyone commits to a long save. A player who disconnects can rejoin the host, but host instability ends the session for every participant.
