Proximity chat
Voices fade with distance, echo through spaces and become radio static when the terrain breaks your line of sight.
Independent Player Guide
Big Walk is a cooperative walker-talker built around exploration, proximity chat and puzzles that make your group communicate in unusual ways. This fan guide helps you form a group, understand the island and ask for exactly the amount of help you want.
What is Big Walk?
House House describes Big Walk as a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking. Your group crosses a hand-built open world, finds odd tools, solves linked challenges and stays in contact through proximity voice chat, text chat, radios, gestures and whatever improvised plan survives contact with your friends.
It is designed as a complete journey with a beginning, middle and end, but the island also makes room for wandering, sunsets and harmless chaos. The strongest first session is about learning how your group reconnects when the world separates you.
Voices fade with distance, echo through spaces and become radio static when the terrain breaks your line of sight.
Choose a landmark, split into small teams or simply follow the path that looks most interesting.
Point, wave, carry and signal when words are unavailable or the puzzle deliberately blocks speech.
Walkie-talkies, binoculars, maps, flares and strange props turn navigation into a social problem.
Sessions support two to twelve players, while the host chooses a world version suited to the group size.
Join Codes help friends meet online even when their platform friend lists do not overlap.

Quick answers
First walk checklist
Confirm nearby messages work, then test what happens when one player walks out of range.
02A tower, bridge or unusual structure gives separated players a simple regroup point.
03Do not leave every radio or map with one player. Share critical items across the group.
04Name the landmark first, then its color and the direction from that landmark.
05For timed or distant puzzles, one countdown is clearer than several instructions.
06Read the observation first, the route second and the full solution only when needed.
