Big Walk purple gourds are late-game puzzle rewards found beyond the purple tunnel. Completion reports identify seven purple rewards, which combine with eight unused ordinary red rewards in a 15-slot structure near the Map Room to open the final completion route.
Reach the purple challenge area
Do not search for purple gourds during the opening tower loop. First complete the main colored-tower progression and open the Yellow Tower tunnel network. The purple-side challenges sit beyond that later route and assume the group already understands maps, long-distance coordination and reusable puzzle clues.
Because Big Walk allows flexibility in tower order, one group may discover a purple reward sooner than another. Finding one does not mean the normal ending is blocked or that the reward must immediately be delivered to a black tower. Store the location and continue with the host's existing world.
Solve all seven purple puzzles
Community 100% completion records consistently describe seven puzzles in the purple area. These challenges remix interaction types seen earlier in the game, including carrying components, recognizing sounds and coordinating remote players. Bring the map, compass, radios and any useful storage equipment before beginning the sweep.
Record each completed structure on a shared checklist. The rewards are physical objects, and repeated trips across the tunnel network can make it difficult to remember which puzzle was solved versus which reward was actually transported home.
Fill the 15-slot collection structure
The final collection point is reported near the Map Room and starting-hub side of the island. Its 15 spaces use the seven purple gourds plus eight remaining red rewards that were not consumed by the normal tower progression. Purple color therefore marks the late-game challenge set, while the final structure accepts both reward types.
Players report that using a purple reward in an ordinary tower does not permanently lock the world. The broader reward pool still supports completion, but depositing the obvious red pieces in normal towers and saving purple pieces for the final room makes the group's accounting easier.
Keep progress on the host save
Big Walk saves automatically, and the official FAQ states that the host is the keeper of the world. The same host must start later sessions for the group to return to its towers, tunnels and collected gourds. Changing host creates a different progress state rather than transferring the original completion route.
Before ending a cleanup session, return carried rewards to the collection structure or another known safe location. A verbal “we found it” is not the same as confirming that the item was deposited and saved.
