The Big Walk Steam edition is the official Windows and macOS release from House House and Panic. It launched on August 4, 2026 with online co-op, cross-platform multiplayer, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing and 12 Steam achievements.

The store labels Big Walk as an adventure with open-world, co-op campaign, puzzle and exploration tags. Those tags describe the shape of the game, but communication is the central mechanic: distance, walls and walkie-talkies change how voices and text reach other players.
Buying Big Walk on Steam
Steam uses regional pricing, so the live product page is the correct source for the amount in your account currency. On August 16, 2026, the page displays a 25% introductory offer ending August 18 in the region checked. That launch discount is temporary and should not be treated as the permanent price.
Big Walk is also shown in an official bundle with PEAK on the Steam product page. Bundle discounts depend on ownership and region, so compare the individual game price with the personalized bundle total before purchasing.
Crossplay and joining friends
Steam players can join supported console players. If the host is already a platform friend, the session can appear in the friends' game browser; otherwise the host shares the short Join Code generated whenever a session starts. Big Walk does not provide public matchmaking.
The host is the keeper of the save. Steam Cloud can synchronize the host's local Steam data, but it does not make the world a shared server that any member can start. The original host must launch the continuing session before the rest of the group reconnects.
Steam languages and achievements
The Steam page lists interfaces in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Latin American Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Turkish. The game does not rely on a fully voiced story track; player communication uses the game's voice and text systems.
Its 12 achievements cover the main route, complete finish, transport unlocks, equipment and appearance. Steam's count excludes a PlayStation-style platinum trophy, so the visible total differs from trophy sites even though the underlying gameplay milestones align.
Check your computer before buying
The minimum Windows specification calls for 12 GB RAM and a 64-bit Windows 10 system, while the recommended tier moves to Windows 11 and 16 GB RAM. Mac support begins with macOS 15 and an M1-class Apple-silicon processor. Intel Mac support is not listed.
