Big Walk launched into PlayStation Plus as a Monthly Game. The official PlayStation page marks the PS5 edition as included and displays the September 1 end time for the claim offer. Store dates and regional catalogs can change, so this page records the status checked on August 16, 2026.
Claiming a Monthly Game during its availability window normally adds it to the subscriber's library under PlayStation's current entitlement rules. Use the product page shown for your account region as the final authority, because pricing, claim windows and plan names may differ outside the United States.
You still need online multiplayer access
Big Walk is an online cooperative game with no full single-player mode. The PlayStation listing explicitly says that online play is required and that PS Plus is required for online play. It supports up to 12 online players on PS5 and includes cross-platform multiplayer with the supported Steam, Mac and Switch 2 versions.
Every participant needs access to the game on a supported system. The offer does not turn Big Walk into local split-screen or couch co-op; each player joins online from a separate device, and the game's communication restrictions are designed around that setup.

If the included label disappears, Big Walk remains available as a normal PS5 purchase unless the publisher changes the listing. Players who claimed it during the Monthly Game period should refer to PlayStation's current subscription rules for continued access.
Crossplay and host saves
PS5 players can join friends on supported platforms through Big Walk's Join Code system. The host owns the save and must start the world before everyone else reconnects, regardless of which platform the host uses. Changing the PlayStation Plus account or choosing a new host does not transfer that world progress automatically.
