Big Walk Purple Puzzles: Endgame Route Explained

Big Walk purple puzzles are late-game challenges beyond the purple tunnel. Learn what their rewards mean, where they fit, and how they support completion.

Big Walk purple puzzles are late-game challenges reached beyond the purple tunnel. Their purple rewards mark harder optional puzzles and contribute to completely finishing the game rather than simply reaching the normal ending.

When the purple puzzles become relevant

Complete the main tower route and unlock the tunnel progression before planning a purple-puzzle cleanup. Player reports from completed worlds consistently place these puzzles in the late-game section of the island, after the group has already learned the core communication and navigation systems.

The official game structure supports this distinction: Big Walk has a normal ending, while the PlayStation list includes a separate Big Game trophy for completely finishing the game. Purple puzzles belong to that second goal.

What the purple rewards are for

Purple rewards can be carried and deposited like the ordinary puzzle rewards used earlier in the adventure. Completion reports show that they ultimately go to a larger collection structure near the starting hub and map-room area, together with ordinary rewards left over after tower progression.

The color identifies the late-game challenge set; it does not create a separate save or new multiplayer mode. Keep all of this progress in the same host world, since the official FAQ states that the host is the keeper of the save.

How to organize the purple cleanup

Use the portable map and compass, then record each purple structure by location and its strongest clue. Several late puzzles ask groups to reuse knowledge, sounds, or objects encountered elsewhere, so note both the puzzle site and any remote endpoint before moving on.

Deposit rewards in batches rather than scattering them at different towers. When the collection structure is complete, use the platform achievement state as the final confirmation instead of assuming that reaching the normal ending also satisfies complete completion.
